Marital captivity on the agenda at Council of Europe

On the 8th of December, the motion submitted by Margreet de Boer (GroenLinks) was placed on the agenda at the Parlimentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. This is a milestone in the battle against marital captivity. Femmes for Freedom started this battle in 2021, and is proud to say that we have achieved many successes in the Netherlands. Now it's time to recognize this issue not only in the Netherlands, but in the rest of Europe. Thank you Margreet for all your support and commitment! We hope and expect that your motion will be passed and that you can continue your great efforts to combat marital captivity in the role of special rapporteur. We support you!
